History:
The Motivation Show was started in 1931 by A.B. Coffman as the National Premium Buyers Exposition at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago . In 1972, the Incentive Travel & Meetings Exposition (IT&ME) was added and the combined event became known as The Motivation Show soon thereafter. The Motivation Show continues to take place in Chicago on an annual basis during the September-October timeframe.
